requesting a grant of $318,000 plus

I am humbly requesting a grant of $318,000 plus $6,000 monthly expenses on behalf of Al-Mustaqiim

Foundation. We are a non-profit humanitarian organization that supports orphans, and less fortunate

families in Somalia. We also sponsor widows, internally displaced persons, and people afflicted by

disasters like drought and flooding.

Al Mustaqiim foundation has been in operation since May 2017. In our four plus years of service, we

have taken care of more than 900 orphans and distributed food to more than 400 families. In our

orphanage school, we offer academic studies as well as life skills. We also offer tailoring classes to the

widows.

We are in desperate need of purchasing a land for our orphanage school instead of renting of it. The land

will cost $300,000. We also want to purchase a school bus which will cost $18,000. Our running expenses

are currently $6000 per month which includes teacher’s salary, monthly rent, and basic needs for the

students, etc.
